    BASIC DOCUMENTATION

    A full birth certificate, a valid passport, a valid tourist visa to enter Türkiye. If divorced, a decree of absolute. If widowed a spouses death certificate, previous marriage certificate. Written consent from your parents or guardians (under the age of 18). If you have changed your name or you were adapted, proof of this needs to be presented.

    REQUIREMENTS AND REGULATIONS

    Only a civil wedding ceremony, conducted by the municipal authority (local marriage registrar) or by the census officer, has legal validity. Religious ceremony is not legally binding.

    There is no minimum residency stay required. However you should allow between 3 or 4 days to complete all the necessary paperwork, depending on where you wish to get married in Türkiye.

    You will be required under Turkish Civil Law, to have a medical examination if you intend to get marry.

       Visa to Türkiye

    The Electronic Visa (e-Visa) Application System allows visitors travelling to Türkiye to easily obtain their e-Visas online (www.evisa.gov.tr), in approximately three minutes.

    It is possible to obtain e-Visa 7/24 at everywhere with internet connection. The applicants can obtain their visa after they fill in the necessary information concerning their identity, passport and travel dates and pay visa fee online.
